Getting started
What is diamond painting (diamond art)?
A calm, hands-on craft where you place small resin diamonds onto a printed, color-coded adhesive canvas to build a shimmering piece of art. There is no painting and no drawing. The pattern decides everything, so no skill is needed.
Do I need to be artistic? Is it hard?
No. The canvas is color-coded and the motion is a simple press of the stylus. The first row is the hardest, and after that you settle into an easy rhythm.
What comes in the kit?
A full-drill canvas with poured adhesive, resin diamonds pre-sorted by shade, a craft tray, a soft-grip stylus, a wax caddy, tweezers, and instructions. Nothing else is needed.
Is it messy?
No paint, no water, and no drying, so there is nothing to clean up. Everything stays in the tray, and you can pause mid-row and pick it up later.
Is it just for kids?
No. MANOLA kits are made for adults, tasteful grown-up wall art.
The kit and materials
Is the artwork AI-generated?
No. Never AI. Every MANOLA design is original artwork, hand-rendered into a diamond pattern by real artists we collaborate with and license.
Are the diamonds resin or acrylic?
Resin, the premium choice. Resin holds its color and sparkle and is sturdier than cheaper acrylic.
What is full drill versus partial drill?
Full drill means the whole image is covered in diamonds for a complete, polished finish. Most MANOLA kits are full drill.
Round, square, or special-shaped diamonds?
MANOLA uses round, square, and special-shaped diamonds, chosen to suit each artwork. Square diamonds sit edge to edge for a crisp look, while round and special shapes are used where they bring a design to life.
What are AB (Aurora Borealis) drills?
Iridescent diamonds that catch rainbow light for extra sparkle. Select kits include them.
What is the canvas like?
A velvet-backed, self-flattening canvas with poured-glue adhesive engineered to hold every diamond, and a clear, readable color guide.
Difficulty and time
How long does a diamond painting take?
It depends on the size. A smaller kit is an evening or two, and a large statement piece is a project you return to over weeks. The hours are the point, that is the calm you are buying.
What do your skill levels mean?
Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced reflect size and detail, not technique. The technique is always simple. Larger kits just take more time.
Relaxation and everyday use
Is diamond art relaxing?
Many people find the repetitive placing meditative, a screen-free way to unwind and keep their hands busy. It is calming and relaxing, not a medical treatment.
Can I do it while watching TV or listening to podcasts?
Yes. It is an ideal hands-busy companion that does not need your eyes the whole time.
Finishing and display
What do I do with it when it is finished?
Frame it and hang it. A finished MANOLA canvas is real wall art. Many people frame without glass so the sparkle shows.
How do I flatten canvas creases?
Gently, face down under a soft cloth. Our velvet canvas is self-flattening, so this is rarely needed.

What photo works best?
A clear, high-resolution photo where the subject fills most of the frame. Bigger sizes show faces more clearly.

Where do you ship from, and do you ship internationally?
MANOLA ships worldwide. US orders ship from our Connecticut, USA warehouse, with free US shipping over $99. International orders are welcome.
What is your return policy?
We stand behind every kit. If it arrives damaged or is missing drills or parts, we will make it right with replacement pieces or a refund. If you change your mind, unused kits in original condition can be returned within 30 days: contact us first, then ship the kit back at your own cost, and we refund you once it arrives and is checked. Custom kits are made to order from your photo, so they are final sale unless they arrive faulty.
