Hi lovely human!

I'm An, a fashion illustrator and surface pattern designer born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam. My name means "peace" in Vietnamese. I began professional art classes at thirteen and have never stopped drawing since, later graduating first class in Fashion Design from Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts.

My style is dreamy, glamorous and feminine, blending hand-detailed pencil, watercolour and ink with digital techniques. For MANOLA, I repainted every evil eye and Hamsa hand in this collection by hand in gouache, then carefully retouched and digitised them, so these protective symbols carry the warmth of real brushstrokes.

I believe the world is at its best when each of us does our best with integrity. Out of gratitude for the support my family gave me, I hope to help less fortunate children go to school by giving my income from artwork sales towards their education.
